Today's Saturday Spotlight is shining brightly upon Sue Moro at Sue's Book Nook.
I have just recently discovered Sue's Book Nook, but am I ever glad that I finally found her booktube channel. Sue began her booktube channel on 21 March 2011 and has currently over 550 subscribers; however, I think she deserves many more subscribers, for her videos are very well made and quite interesting and informative. Not only is she an avid reader, but a talented artist, as well, and she graciously shares some of her artwork within her videos. Sue has an envious job to most book lovers, for she is the shipping manager at Barnes and Noble and gets to gaze at all of the lovely books as they are delivered to her store. She also gets an employee discount which makes all of us within the booktube/bookblog world drool unceasingly.
My appreciation of Sue Moro and Sue's Book Nook is three fold:
- Her videos are visually appealing and expertly crafted.
- She has demonstrated to me, a 48 year old male, that it is okay to have an appreciation for, and attraction to, YA fiction, no matter what your age.
- She possesses an infectious passion for all things Dr. Who and she has kindled within me a strong deisre to learn more about this galaxy-saving Doctor.
